A-cero`s Galicia House
Another amazing home by A-cero drew our attention. This next architectural jewel, built in Galicia, reminds us of a fortress with majestic interior and exterior design. Breathtaking to say the least, the home was built on a 2.000 m2 terrain. The architects used the rough terrain as inspiration when building the house from cubic blocks and oblique walls. This is how the interior and exterior took shape: “The house is closed on the access façade, while it opens wide to the views on the opposite side“. This home has road access in three different directions, while the west side is dominated by a cliff. A-cero always surprise its audience with their ability to use the site of the future home in their favour. In this case, they played with volumes, space and light: “The interior solution follows a functional space distribution, coinciding with the blocks’ intersections, over 3 floors. The different levels are connected by a series of flights of stairs, located on a fixed part of the building and ending on a beautiful glass floor corridor that connects with the upper level.“ The interior of the home features two bedrooms, each with their own bathrooms and closets, a gym, an imposing living area, a kitchen, a solarium and a wonderful terrace. Just take a look at the pictures and tell us what you think: which one is the most stunning of A-cero`s works?
